The Victoria Hotel, built by the Krause family in 1906, has had a colourful past and has changed hands numerous times.
First Place of Worship
The Andreas Lilge home, built 1894-1895 approximately one mile east of the present Town, was the first place of worship in Bruderheim.

Mallon Windmill
The Mallon Windmill, built in 1920 by Mr. William Mallon, was a wind-driven mill used to grind rye and wheat into flour and animal feed, and to saw fire wood.
Citizen's Band
As early as 1910, Bruderheim was able to boast its own group of musicians who formed a band with a common purpose in mind – they loved music.
CN Railway
In 1905, one hundred twenty-six miles of the Canadian Northern Railway line between Edmonton and Vermillion was completed.

A variety of sports were an important part of early life in Bruderheim – from soccer and baseball to basketball and hockey.
Krause Flour Mill
The Krause Mill was built in 1907 by the three Krause brothers, Adam, William and Theodor.
