Hydrant Flushing

Fire hydrant flushing will commence May 21st to 30th. This annual maintenance program flushes out water lines to ensure the delivery of clean, safe drinking water. While water is being released during the flushing process, you may notice a temporary drop in water pressure in your home. You may also notice that water from your taps is cloudy, due to extra air in the lines. The water is completely safe to drink and running your taps for a couple of moments will clear it up.

GIS Mapping Program

Work will be underway to locate and map underground water infrastructure throughout Bruderheim. Residents will notice two operators around town in various locations, including the front yards of residences, between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. This work will continue until September and will provide the Town with critical GIS mapping information to assist with infrastructure maintenance and improved response during water main breaks and emergencies.
